I purchased a phone from MetroPCS on November 17, 2011 for $350.00 base price. On December 30, 2011 the phone stopped connecting to their internet & 4G service. The only thing I could do with the telephone was talk and text. I purchased an LG Esteem smart phone. I called MetroPCS numerous times and I was finally able to speak to someone that helped me. He had me factory reset my phone (lost everything) and it worked until Janruary 14th and it is back to not working again. The only time I can do anythig aside from talking or texting is when I am connected to wireless. I have visited their "Corporate" store in Melbourne, FL a total of 4 times and I have called their 611 number at least 5-10 times. My question remains the same... Why have they not simply replaced my phone? Everytime I go into the store they give me a million reasons and excuses as to why my phone doesn't work and that they are "fixing" the issue. They also made me drop off my phone on the January 27, 2011 for an hour while they performed a "update" that would fix the problem. When I returned back to the store to pick up my phone a girl handed me my phone and said "its all fixed". So I asked her to ensure my phone was fixed and she said "I don't know what the problem was with your phone". So I let her know that it had issues with connecting to the internet without wireless and she connected my phone to the stores wireless and tried to pass it off to me as fixed. I stayed in the store and turned off the wireless and let them know that their update didn't work. I asked for my phone to be replaced again and I was given excuses as to why they couldn't replace it, although the phone is 2 months old. That was not the first time they tried to pass the phone back to me as fixed. Each time I visit the store they take the phone press some buttons, connect it through their wireless service and hand it back to me. I have called their 611 service and I get hung up on almost every time I call". How can they have someone pay $350/.00 for their product that they will not honor with the phones 1 year warrenty or the insurance coverage that i pay for? Everytime I speak to someone on the phone they tell me my only option is to go to their store and have them replace the phone for a $30 fee but when I go they will not replace it! They have removed the battery to ensure that the phone hasn't been wet and they discover that it hasn't and still nothing?. The only thing I want is for them to replace this expensive phone especially that it is only 2 months old!. I pay for a service that I can't use and I have no resouces to get help in correcting this problem:. I am a single mother with 2 children that also have telephones and MetroPCS has affordable rates:. I have been a customer of theirs since February of 2008 and I am in disbelief that no one can simply say that they apologize for selling me a phone that does not work properly and simply give me a new one|. I haven't asked to return it or give me a refund.. I only want a new phone! 128e2ab
