| 1. Written by Doesn't make sense on November 23, 2011 My Metro service sucks just as much as the next person's, however requiring you to pay your bill each month does not at all mean that you are under contract. It is your responsibility to pay your phone bill each month on it's due date. Unfortunately (as like with any other month to month service) if you do not pay your bill you lose your service. Why would they prorate your bill for you?? ![]() |

| 4. Written by Not true on October 19, 2011 I wish people who worked wherever you went knew the truth. The truth is this: The date of purchase is your anniversary date. The month is considered 30 days. That being said lets say you purchase on 10/11/2011. Your bill will be due on 11/10/2011 and every 10th thereafter. If you don't pay your bill it will go off on 11/11/2011 at aproximately 11 am (Eastern). If you come in and pay it from 1-6 days after you will only get 29-24 days of service. If, however, your phone is off for 7 days or more you can pay an additional $5 and do what is called a bill cycle reset which means if your bill was due on 11/11 you can come in on 11/18, pay your bill and an additional $5 and your bill will then be due on the 18th of each month. It makes me angry that this information (and a lot of other info) is not given to the customer up front. I work for a Metro PCS in Connecticut and all of my customers are given this information UP FRONT AND BEFORE PURCHASE just to make sure they know what they are getting into and are well informed on how we conduct business. I understand your frustation and I wish other salespeople would be up front with their customers as well. I wish you the best of luck. |
